New or used, private or company car: the casco market differs hugely in deductibles, depreciation and assistance. I make insurers compete – and show you what the cover behind the premium is really worth.
🎮 Casco Master – potholes, deer, hail: get home in one piece!
The deductible structure materially affects both the premium and how much you pay out of pocket at a claim – with the customary 10%, minimum HUF 100,000 deductible, a larger claim can mean a six-figure sum. I can only responsibly quote a specific amount once I have offers based on your own data.
What is a 3-year-old headlight worth? When is a free-standing wheel change covered? We clarify it up front.
You see an indicative price within minutes – the fine-tuning and putting the offers in competition is my job.
20 minutes by phone or video: your situation, your goals, your budget. Free of charge, with no obligation.
I collect offers from the relevant insurers and hand them over in a single, easy-to-read table – strengths and weaknesses included.
You decide, I handle the paperwork. If you have a question later or your situation changes, let me know – and when a claim comes, I help you get started.
The full process, with a timeline – and the casco opportunity of the autumn MTPL season: How it works →
MTPL covers damage you cause to others – it's a legal requirement. Casco covers your own car – a voluntary choice. A case map: from fender-benders to hail, who pays and why.
Read it →The casco deductible typically has two parts: a percentage AND a minimum amount – whichever is higher applies at claim time. Why the percentage alone isn't enough.
Read it →Depreciation is a key concept in casco claims: an age-based deduction on certain parts. How it typically works, where it can be disputed, and what owners can do about it.
Read it →Casco isn't worthwhile for everyone – and even a broker should say so. Value-proportionate thinking, the partial-casco idea, and self-insuring: points to help you decide.
Read it →The primary route for a casco claim is the insurer's claims line, online portal or app. Deadlines, documents, inspection – the whole process step by step.
Read it →Within minutes you get an indicative, non-binding price for guidance only – the final premium is set out in the insurers' quotes. Your car's value, age and type, regional risk, deductible, mileage, claims history and security are the factors behind your casco premium, and we explain them openly.
Read it →The deductible balances premium against your burden at a claim: higher deductible = lower premium, but more out of pocket. Based on your usage (city, mileage, garage) we set the right structure together.
The insurer may deduct for the age of certain parts from the payout – what and how much depends on the terms. The 3-year-old headlight question hinges on this; I highlight it separately in the comparison.
It depends on the car’s value and your risks: beyond collision, theft, natural perils and glass matter too. Sometimes a reduced (partial casco) package is the rational choice.
Typical exclusions: wear and tear, an unlocked vehicle, racing; drink-driving typically gives the insurer grounds for exemption from payment. Exclusion lists differ by insurer – I translate them into decision-maker language up front.
They are two separate policies, but can be reviewed and competed together: this often brings a discount and always a clearer overall picture. Aligning the two renewal dates takes a separate step – the MTPL renewal date is fixed to the start of cover and cannot be moved at will – and the discount itself is not guaranteed.
This is just a taster – the full collection spans six topics: all 58 questions and answers →

Rudi says casco is no luxury but the shield of the car - Pajzsi agrees.
As an independent broker I make insurers compete for you – not the other way round. My advice costs you nothing.

casco.biz is the information and quote-request page of Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, independent insurance broker. As a broker I act on the client's behalf: I compare offers from several insurers, and the decision always rests with the client. My advice is free of charge to the client – the brokerage remuneration is paid by the insurer.
