About

We take on one job: protecting your car – including at claim time.

casco.biz is the information and quote-request site of Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, independent insurance broker – for private casco (comprehensive motor) cover, specialising in collision, theft, natural-peril and glass damage to your own vehicle. I work in person in Budapest and Kecskemét if you wish, and online and by phone nationwide.

Rudi says casco isn't a luxury – it's the car's shield. Pajzsi agrees: shields are what he does.

Who is behind this site?

I'm Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, independent insurance intermediary (broker). As a broker, I don't represent one insurer – I act on the client's instructions: I request competing casco offers from several insurers for your car, and hand them over in one plain, shared table – deductibles, depreciation rules, exclusions, strengths and weaknesses included. I assess the need and explain the options – the decision is always the client's.

My activity is supervised by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (the central bank of Hungary): my registration number is 114063010758, which anyone can check in the MNB institution register. I carry out the intermediation as a partner of Eurorisk Biztosítási Alkusz Kft. My main site: tukacs.com.

Why casco specifically?

Because for most families the car is the biggest asset after the home – and because casco is the policy where the content behind the premium differs the most. Two offers with a similar premium can differ by hundreds of thousands at claim time: the deductible sits in a different place, depreciation is calculated differently, different items land on the exclusion list. My job is to screen all of this: deductible-smart, depreciation-aware, tuned to real-life use – and again if you let me know before the renewal date. As our homepage mini-game „Cascomester” (Casco Master) also shows: on the road, everything hinges on a good reaction – on paper, it hinges on what you set up in time. The details are in the Insights hub, in 89 plain-language articles.

Three principles I stick to

What I am NOT – an important distinction

What does this cost you?

I don't charge the client a fee for the advice or for running the competition – the intermediary's remuneration is paid by the insurer. This is standard market practice, and I talk about it openly, because trust rests on this: you know exactly what your broker lives on, and also that the right to decide always stays with you.

Strong backing: Eurorisk

I carry out the intermediary work as a partner of Eurorisk Biztosítási Alkusz Kft. Eurorisk has been operating since 1993 and holds an MNB licence as a brokerage firm – its backing means that casco.biz has mature professional and legal infrastructure behind it, while you keep working with the same reachable person throughout.

The rest of the family

Not every risk around your car is a casco question – and not all of them belong here either. Damage caused to someone else is the domain of compulsory motor third-party liability (MTPL) insurance: kotelezo.biz – the relationship between the two is covered by our casco vs. MTPL mirror article. A company vehicle fleet is a fleet question: flotta.biz. The costs of road-traffic legal disputes are carried by legal expenses insurance: jogvedelem.biz. Cover for personal injury from an accident is a separate field: baleset.biz. For the full picture of the business's portfolio, see vallalkozas.biz – here, everything is about private casco.
