How it works

Twenty minutes of conversation – then the market works for you.

On casco.biz the process is transparent: needs assessment, deductible and cover choices, the offer table, signing, an orderly route at claim time, an annual review. Altogether this takes just a few hours of your time – I handle the rest.

All Rudi noticed was this: there was a good conversation, then a clear table arrived – and ever since, he's known exactly what to do at claim time. Pajzsi is holding the shield.

Needs assessment – 20 minutes

By phone or video call: what your car is like, how you use it, what the goal is, what the budget is. Free of charge, with no obligation – this is also where it becomes clear whether full casco is worth thinking about at all: who it pays off for, and who it doesn't.

Deductible and cover choices

Starting from how you use the car, we zero in on the deductible direction and the scope of cover: full or partial casco, with which extras. This is where we set the most important thing: the right deductible structure.

Offers in one table

Competing offers from several insurers in one clear, shared table: deductibles, depreciation rules, exclusions, assistance – with strengths and weaknesses, ready for a decision.

Signing

You decide, I handle the paperwork – for a new policy and for switching alike, in the correct order. For a financed car, we also sort out the assignment clause: how signing works.

At claim time: an orderly route

You report the claim via the insurer's claims line or online portal – this is the fastest route. If the case gets stuck or becomes disputed (claim value, depreciation), I help the client, where I can, as a broker: here's how.

Review, if warranted

A review, if your situation changes or you ask: has the car's value changed, has an extra been fitted, has usage changed? It's worth restoring the alignment every year – that way the policy itself doesn't become outdated.

The details of each step are in Insights: needs assessment, choosing a deductible, comparing offers, how signing works, claim reporting, the renewal routine.

Autumn MTPL season: also a good time to look at your casco

For MTPL (compulsory motor third-party liability) policies with a 1 January renewal date, the campaign period falls in autumn – you have to get the car paperwork out anyway at this time. With one move, casco can be put out to competition too: one renewal date, one table, under whatever rules are in force. For us, this isn't pressure to switch: if your current policy is the right one, that's what we'll tell you.

Is my current casco any good?

Timeline – what happens when?

  1. Today: book an appointment or take the 2-minute self-check – a direction, with no obligation.
  2. Needs assessment (20 minutes) + a deductible and cover direction – by the end, you'll know what's worth requesting quotes for.
  3. Requesting quotes and handing over the table – when the quotes arrive depends on the insurers' response times; you receive the table, and I answer your questions.
  4. Signing – I prepare the paperwork, you decide and sign; when switching, the old policy is handled correctly, and for a financed car, the clause is part of this too.
  5. After signing: checking the policy together – deductible, covers, extras, data; the policy and the data checklist should go into one folder.
  6. If warranted (or on request): a review – tracking the car's value, usage and extras; if your life situation changes, we adjust mid-year too.

And what comes after signing – support in the background, if you get in touch

What do I ask of you, in total? A 20-minute conversation, a few honest facts about your car, and one decision. The rest – running the competition, the table, the paperwork – is my job; reminders, I send on request. The advice is free of charge; the intermediary's remuneration is paid by the insurer.

Let's talk through in 20 minutes what's right for your car.

Free of charge, no obligation – by the end you will see your options and the next step clearly.
