I already have casco – is it right? How the review works

Most casco clients aren't about to take out a new policy – they're living with an existing one, and their question is a fair one: is it right, as it stands? The review answers exactly that: on four points, within an hour, and the outcome is often that everything is fine. That, too, is a result – well-founded peace of mind.

In brief:
  • The four points of the review: deductible structure, depreciation rule, scope of cover and exclusions, premium comparison.
  • This isn't a switching campaign: the outcome is often "keep it, perhaps adjust it" – and we say so plainly.
  • What to bring: the policy and its terms – I'll take care of the rest.

The four points of the review

1) Deductible: does the structure (percentage + minimum) fit today's use – the method. 2) Depreciation: is the rule known, and how does it compare with what's available on the market – the depreciation article. 3) Scope of cover: is there a gap against reality (a missing extra cover, an unreported extra) or excess (an element never used). 4) Premium comparison: where the market stands for the same content – in a like-for-like comparison.

The three possible outcomes

Stay: the policy is competitive – and if you let me know before the anniversary next year, I'll revisit it. Adjust: the framework is right, but a setting or two has drifted – amendment without switching: deductible, extra covers, details. Switch: the content-to-premium balance is meaningfully better elsewhere – that's when the well-timed switching process comes in. The statistical truth: all three outcomes occur regularly – which is why we don't push switching as a matter of urgency.

Why is it worth it even if you stay?

Because after the review, you KNOW what you have: you know your deductible, your depreciation rule, your exclusions – no surprises at claim time. A side product of the process is a tidy file (policy, terms, extras list, data checklist), and a yearly rhythm: from here on, the renewal routine is just upkeep. The review is free and comes with no obligation – the decision is yours at every point.
