Offer Comparison Table: Two Casco Policies Side by Side

This is the centrepiece of the Resources pack: the table that lets you genuinely compare two (or more) casco offers side by side. Copy it out, fill it in row by row – and leave the premium row for last: that's what turns a choice into a real decision.

In brief:
  • The table's seven blocks: deductible, depreciation, events, exclusions, limits, services, claims handling – premium last.
  • For every row, find the answer in the policy terms – if you can't find it, ask: how hard it is to find out is itself information.
  • You can also ask me to fill it in for you: with several insurers' offers, marked up for strengths and weaknesses.

How Should You Use It?

Work through it row by row, and in every cell write the fact you found IN THE POLICY TERMS – not the marketing line from the offer summary. Wherever the two cells differ, ask yourself: what is that difference worth in my own use? The policy-terms reading crash course shows you where to look for the answers; the 5 questions are the short version, if you only have a few minutes. And of course: you can also get this table filled in from me – with several insurers' offers, free of charge.
